Sunny 105.9 Orlando Debuts

Sunny 105.9 WOCL Orlando ORock Cool

As we predicted back on Christmas Day, 105.9 WOCL has debuted its new format as “Orlando’s Greatest Hits – Sunny 105.9“. The station debuted with a similar production montage to the one used by sister WCBS-FM New York when that station returned last Summer. The station’s music is centered in the 70’s but includes a healthy amount of 60’s and 80’s as well. Imaging is voiced by WCBS-FM’s Ziggy.

Listen to the stunt montage and format change here.

The station’s first hour consisted of:
KC and the Sunshine Band – That’s The Way I Like It
Foreigner – Feels Like The First Time
Prince – 1999
Rolling Stones – (Can’t Get No) Satisfaction
The 4 Seasons – 1963 (Oh What A Night)
Marvin Gaye – Sexual Healing
The Doobie Brothers – Listen To The Music
Maxine Nightingale – Right Back From Where We Started From
Billy Joel – Uptown Girl
Van Morrison – Brown Eyed Girl
Barry White – You’re The First, The Last, My Everything
Huey Lewis And The News – I Want A New Drug
Fleetwood Mac – Don’t Stop
The Beatles – Twist And Shout
Donna Summer – Last Dance
The Bee Gees – Jive Talkin
Eurythmics – Sweet Dreams
