Loud Media has combined Classic Hits “Star Radio 93.3” 1160 WSSV Mechanicville/93.3 W227DW Saratoga Springs and Variety Hits “93.5 Lake George Radio” WLGR Warrensburg/Glens Falls NY into a combined Classic Hits brand “Lake-FM“.
The stations are both running identical music logs and on-air lineups with distinct spotloads. Longtime area talent Walt Adams is hosting mornings from 7 to 10am along with “Sunday Jazz” on Sunday mornings from 7-9am. ‘Rick Foxx’ Woodhouse follows in middays from 10am to 3pm with a “Top 10 at 10” feature focusing on ten songs from one year. Marissa Lanchak continues in afternoons and a “Totally 80s” feature runs from 7-9pm. The station adds a new Oldies show on Saturday mornings hosted by Jerry Crouth.
Loud Media CEO Ricki Lee said, “We own several radio stations in the area, and we wanted to serve our communities and our clients better. So we’ve decided to rebrand all of our radio stations under a singular brand. This allows us to have a consistent sound playing the greatest hits from the ’70s ’80s and ’90s and to broadcast more locally-produced radio shows and content.”
The revamped music programming focuses on pop hits from the 1970s through 90s and is utilizing PlayoutONE by Aiir’s Custom Voicetrack technology to allow each station to have personalized tracks.
