Waco Entertainment Group flipped CHR “Power 108” KWPW Robinson/Waco TX to Classic Country on Saturday.

Now “107.9 The Bull“, the station is now focusing on Country hits from the 1990s and early 2000s. Core artists are listed as including George Strait, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, and Tim McGraw. The station positions itself into a Country battle in the market that includes iHeartMedia’s market leading “WACO 100” 99.9 WACO-FM and M&M Broadcasters combo of Red Dirt Country “104.9 Shooter-FM” KRMX and Classic Country “Kicker 99.3” 1590 KEKR/99.3 K257GO.

The flip leaves iHeart’s “97.5 FM” KWTX as the only CHR in Waco.
