Rich Eisen Show Joins Infinity Sports Network; Jim Rome Moves To Westwood One

Lance Ventaby Lance Venta
December 16, 2024

Jim Rome Show Infinity Sports Network CBS Two long-running syndicated Sports shows are changing timeslots starting Monday, January 6.

The Jim Rome Show will depart his longtime 12-3pm Eastern slot on Audacy’s Infinity Sports Network but will remain with distributor Westwood One for a daily 3-6pm show. Rome would be replaced on the 24/7 network by Rich Eisen’s daily show, which also currently runs in the 12-3pm timeslot and distributed by Westwood One.

Rome was the last remaining show from the CBS Sports Radio turned Infinity Sports network lineup from its launch in January 2013. He previously spent fifteen years as part of Premiere Network’s sports offerings in the 12-3pm timeslot.

Westwood One President Collin Jones said, “Jim Rome is a natural addition to Westwood One’s powerful portfolio of sports programming. His unique voice, unparalleled sports insight, and dynamic style have cultivated a dedicated audience that we look forward to welcoming. Additionally, this partnership marks an exciting chapter for Westwood One, as we continue to deliver top-tier content for our audiences and our advertising partners.”

Rome added, “I am thrilled to be part of the premium content that defines Westwood One; a preeminent industry leader when it comes to providing live sports coverage to the most passionate audiences. This new time slot is an incredible opportunity to connect with new listeners and broaden our audience and will allow for more access to athletes and titans in the sports world.”

Rich Eisen Show Westwood One RokuOriginally produced by DirecTV, Eisen began his daily show on Premiere’s Fox Sports Radio from 2014 until April 2020. Westwood One then took over the syndication with the program also streaming on the Audacy app and SiriusXM and in video form on the Roku Channel after a previous run on Peacock. Eisen has been the lead anchor for the NFL Network since it launch in 2003 following a seven year stint at ESPN.

Eisen commented, “I’m thrilled to be expanding my relationship with Westwood One and Audacy by providing my show as a tentpole for the Infinity Sports Network. I look forward to all the new possible first-time callers to become long-time listeners and expand my podcast audience along with it.”

Infinity Sports Network and WFAN New York Brand Manager Ryan Hurley said, “We are delighted to welcome Rich to the Infinity Sports Network lineup. Rich has always delivered great content and guests to his audience, and we can’t wait for that to continue starting January 6th.”
