After over 15 years in mornings at Radio One Houston’s Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK Lake Jackson/KHPT Conroe, Dean Myers and Roger Beaty exited the station following their show on Wednesday.
Dean & Rog joined The Eagle at its launch in June 2009 after previously hosting mornings across town at “93.7 The Arrow” KKRW from 1997 to 2009. First paired together when Beaty joined Myers at WIOG Saginaw MI, the duo later worked in Salt Lake City before a controversial run at KBPI Denver and a brief stint at KSLX before arriving in Houston.
Also exiting are co-host Kelly Ryan and producer Rusty. Radio One has yet to announce its plans for mornings on KGLK/KHPT.
