Longtime New York City area engineer Andy Gladding is entering ownership as his and Kathleen Berghorn’s FM Pilot LLC is purchasing AAA 98.1 WKZE Salisbury CT and 105.9 W290BZ Red Hook NY from Barbara Stanley’s Willpower Radio LLC for $515,000. The deal also includes a three year non-compete agreement for Stanley within WKZE’s coverage area.
Progressive Broadcasting Company donates Full Service 1490 WBCB/107.3 W297CL Levittown PA to Conservative think-tank Broad & Liberty Inc.’s B & L Media Ventures LLC in a valuation of $2.35 million. A Time Brokerage Agreement took effect in October.
After taking Christian AC “106.9 The Heart” KHRT-FM Minot and its co-owned AM silent in July for lack of financial support, Roy Leavitt’s Faith Broadcasting Inc. has sold the FM to Joseph Goldade’s RadioDifferently LLC for $240,000. Goldade previously was a television meteorologist in the Minot market before moving into software development.
After the death of David Keister in 2020, his estate has transferred his remaining properties to Kate Borkowski’s Arrow Fiduciary Services for divestment. The agreement was made in March, but just now filed with the FCC. At its peak, Keister’s Mid-America Radio Group owned 32 stations across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, the remaining stations are 94.1 WLZT Worthington, Christian AC “Spirit 95.1” WVNI Nashville IN/107.7 W299BD Bloomington, Classic Hits “The Sound” 97.7 WCLS Spencer/Bloomington, Classic Country “K101” 101.1 WDCK Bloomfield/Bloomington, Country 102.3 WCBK-FM/106.9 W295BS Martinsville, Southern Gospel 1540 WMYJ/100.5 W263CH Martinsville and 98.9 W255DD Mooresville.
