Dubiski’s Surge Media Ventures will increase its stake in the company from 45% to 70% purchase Chief Revenue Officer Art Morales’ 10% stake and 15% of CEO’s Mike Cutchall’s stake in the company for $1000 plus a $3 million capital contribution to the company. At closing he will own 70% of the company with Cutchall holding the other 30%.

WJLX resumed operations earlier this month after Timmons, who previously served as a sportscaster at the station, returned as Interim General Manager.

The buyers own Spanish “Power 910” WUBR Baton Rouge/103.7 K279CU Thibodaux. KTIB currently serves as the originating station for FC New Orleans Inc.’s Spanish Rhythmic “La Calle 97.9” K250BA New Orleans.
Minn Iowa Christian Broadcasting will purchase Christian AC “The Dove” 91.9 KTDV State Center and 88.7 KRFH Marshalltown IA for $100,000. Minn Iowa Christian Broadcasting operates Christian “Kinship Radio” in the two states based at 104.5 KJLY Blue Earth/Mankato MN.
