Amaturo Sonoma Broadcasting’s “Oldies 107.9” K300AO/KHTH-HD2 Santa Rosa CA will cease operations at midnight tonight.
Launched in August 2022 as a flanker to sister Classic Hits “The Wolf 102.7” KWVF Guerneville, the 60/70s based station has been running announcements this week noting that its signal was being reallocated by the FCC.
K300AO is being displaced by the sign-on of Brian Henry’s new 107.9 KBVE Boonville/Ukiah. The translator has a Construction Permit to relocate to 93.3, but this announcement seems to dismiss any thought of the Oldies brand relocating.
