Rob Creighton has exited his role as Director of Content at Townsquare Media Sedalia MO and afternoon host of AC “Mix 92.3” KSDL Sedalia.
Creighton joined Townsquare Sedalia in April 2019 after previously holding a similar role for the company in the Quad Cities. During his tenure he oversaw the 2023 flip of KSDL from Classic Hits “Awesome 92.3”. Creighton has also spent six years as Operations Manager/PD of Ramar Communications’ KLZK/KXTQ Lubbock TX, and programmed WSHP Lafayette IN, WVIC Lansing MI, and WRXQ Joliet IL.
As part of a post on Facebook, Creighton shared, “If this stop on my career showed me anything it’s that radio is still a very vibrant, relevant, medium and people’s relationship with it is very personal.
I’m privileged to have worked in a market where someone’s family member popped in to ask how their son could get in the business. Or a listener dropped by to say hello. Or people wanted our help with an event, cause or issue important to them. To those in radio, yes, if your company or cluster is hiring, let me know. Pass my name on to your Market President, GM, Content or Operations Director. I’m ready to help your stations grow and looking forward to what’s next.”
In addition to KSDL, Townsquare operates Country “Kix 105.7” KXKX and News/Talk 1050 KSIS in Sedalia.
