Big Toe Media LLC led by Dave Greene and Conrad Thompson have agreed to purchase “Fox Sports 590” KFNS Wood River IL/St. Louis from Dave Zobrist’s Zobrist Media. The new group will assume operations of KFNS via LMA on Tuesday, April 15. The buyers and the seller are partners in the local digital Sports network “Sports Hub STL” which features local hosts including Bernie Miklasz, Randy Karraker, and Mike Claiborne.

Greene, who will serve as President of Big Toe Media said, “590 AM had a great run as an all-sports station, but it’s time for a new direction. In the coming weeks, we will announce something new and exciting for St. Louis. Our goal is to modernize talk content in this city and bring fresh energy to the space.”

He says the station will apply for new call letters and will debut a new programming lineup by the end of the month.
