Longtime “K92.3” WXLK Roanoke morning host Danny Meyers has returned to the Wheeler Media cluster hosting afternoons at AC “Q99” 99.1 WSLQ.

Meyers, who continues to host afternoons at Hubbard Hot AC 97.9 WRMF West Palm Beach, previously served as APD and co-host of “The Mornin’ Thang” with Zack Jackson from 2002 until the end of 2016. Since departing Roanoke, Meyers hosted mornings at WMOV-FM Norfolk VA and WDCG Raleigh NC fro iHeartMedia and then joined WRMF in July 2023. Prior to Roanoke, Meyers hosted nights at WPLJ New York, was APD/MD/night host at WQSX Boston followed by mornings at WMWX Philadelphia.

Meyers told WSLS-TV, “It was incredibly hard to leave Roanoke-Lynchburg. But it was an easy decision to be back on the air in an area I love. It’s an honor to be joining the exceptional team at Q99. I’m excited to reconnect with the community and continue sharing great moments with listener friends”
