Westwood One’s shutdown of seven 24/7 formats has led to format shifts at two Midwest Communications stations in Sioux Falls SD.
“Q95.7” KQSF Dell Rapids has moved from Westwood One’s CHR “Hits Now” to its Adult Contemporary format retaining its current branding as “Most Music” positioning. Northpine.com reports that in order to fit the music change into its cluster, locally programmed AC 101.9 KELO-FM Sioux Falls has moved to a current/recurrent based Hot AC.
The changes come from Westwood One discontinuing Hits Now along with six other 24/7 formats at the end of this week.
