After stunting for a week with a loop of six songs while promoting “a party coming to the radio”, Q-Broadcasting Corporation debuted Bilingual Rhythmic CHR “Party-FM” on 1030 WONQ Oviedo/Orlando and translators 93.9 W230AL Union Park/103.5 W278CN Eatonville FL on Thursday at 5pm.
The flip resurrects the “Party” branding previously utilized by Cox Media Group’s Dance CHR “95.3 Party” WPYO from 1999 to 2004. The station is featuring a mix of Spanish and English songs with the station describing itself as “Central Florida’s hottest bilingual station with today’s hits”. An on-air lineup will follow.
