KORE Broadcasting owns “Fox Sports Eugene” 1050 KORE Springfield-Eugene/102.9 K275CX Eugene. Xana had purchased KNCU and 96.7 KCRF-FM Lincoln City last year for $115,000 following the foreclosure of Yaquina Bay Communications at the end of 2023.
The UA-ASU-TSU Educational Radio Corporation, a partnership of The University of Alabama, Alabama State University and Troy University is transferring its 88.3 WAPR Selma/Montgomery AL solely to the University of Alabama for no consideration. WAPR operates as part of Public News/Talk “Alabama Public Radio” based at 91.5 WUAL Tuscaloosa.
Translator Sales
Hope Christian Church of Marlton buys 100.3 W262AQ York PA from Spanish American Civil Association For Equality for $32,000. The translator, which in the agreement is noted as being silent despite no STA, is licensed to rebroadcast the seller’s 91.3 WLCH-FM Lancaster. W262AQ became redundant after the $350,000 purchase of 1400 WLCH/107.1 W296EA Manchester Township/York (formerly WGLD) last year.
Civic Media will purchase 103.9 K280AT Ely MN from Range Paging Inc. for $8,000. K280AT, which currently rebroadcasts 91.7 KAXE Grand Rapids MN, will be utilized to bring Civic’s recently acquired 1450 WELY Ely.
Non Consummation
The $550,000 sale of 101.5 K268CT St. Louis from Kaspar Broadcasting of Missouri to East Central Broadcasting filed in June 2023 will not be completed. The translator had been utilized by Louis ‘Buzz’ Eckelkamp’s East Central Broadcasting to rebroadcast Rock/American 920 KWUL St. Louis. That station was also heard on 101.7 KWUL-FM Elsberry until March.
