Rubber City Radio Group has made lineup changes at Country 94.9 WQMX Akron and “107.3 Alternative Cleveland” WNWV Elyria OH.
At WNWV, Aaron Lux moves from nights to join Program Director Brady Marks in mornings. Lux has been with the station for three years and has hosted nights for the past year. He replaces Ryan Lang, who departed the station in March for a position with the American Red Cross.
‘Matt Rybar’ Hribar joins WNWV as evening host. Rybar has previously serves as morning show producer at Audacy AC “Star 102” WDOK, hosts a show on 88.7 WJCU and is an emcee and DJ in the Cleveland area.
The final addition is Ben Ealy to WNWV as midday host and night host on WQMX under the on-air name ‘Norm’. Ealy hosted mornings at Verstanding Broadcasting Country 104.7 WAYZ Hagerstown MD from 2021 until the end of 2024 and has also worked at Withers Broadcasting Rock 106.7 WZZL Paducah KY.
WNWV Program Director Brady Marks said, “I am so excited about our new lineup! It’s a thoughtfully curated mix of individuals that are all passionate about music, local radio, and Cleveland. There’s a real sense of momentum at 107.3 and we’re optimistic about where 2025 is headed for us.”
