Shula currently owns Oldies “Big WECK” 1230 WECK Cheektowaga with three translators in the Buffalo market and Yacht Rock “Key 93.7” WKEY-FM Key West FL. An LMA will take effect on June 1.
University of Northwestern-St. Paul’s Northwestern Media is buying Christian Preaching “94.1 The Voice” KBXL Caldwell/Boise ID from Inspirational Family Media for $1.5 million. The seller is in the process of divesting its properties as it has a pending sale of AC “Star 95.5” KUJJ and “Heartland Country 98.3” KDZY McCall ID to Nelly Broadcasting, and still owns “Solid Talk” 790 KSPD/94.5 K233DE Boise.
Northwestern Media sells 89.5 WJRF Duluth MN to WRVM Inc. for $150,000. WJRF currently simulcasts co-owned Christian AC “Life 97.3” KDNW Duluth. WRVM Inc. operates a network of Christian stations based at 102.7 WRVM Suring/Green Bay WI.
Holy Family Communications sells its trio of 730 WACE Chicopee/Springfield, 1230 WNEB Worcester, and 970 WESO/101.1 W266DK Southbridge MA to Journey For Life Media for $150,000. The stations currently operate as part of the seller’s Catholic “Stations of the Cross” network.
