KSER, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, covers Snohomish County and surrounding areas on 90.7 FM and broadcasts from a Whidbey Island transmitter on KXIR, 89.9 FM. As an independent public radio station, KSER depends largely on individual donors, underwriting and grants to bring an eclectic mix of music shows and informational programming to Snohomish and Island counties.

This is amazing. I would say the Seattle area is probably the top community radio market in the country. So many unique voices there, in fact, so many, I didn’t even know the station existed, and I lived there. I am always grateful when someone would vast experience as able to step in and provide guidance, I benefit greatly from that in my current station.
