Rogers Sports & Media flipped Alternative “Sonic Radio” 107.5 CKKS-FM Chilliwack/92.5 CKKS-FM-1 Abbotsford/104.9 CKKS-FM-2 Vancouver BC to Millennial Hits “Kiss Throwbacks” today.
The station will play pop hits from the 1990s and 2000s with core artists including Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, NSYNC, the Black Eyed Peas, Coolio, Nelly, Dr. Dre, Notorious B.I.G., Blink-182, Green Day, Linkin Park, and Jimmy Eat World.
The station will be anchored in mornings by former CHFI Toronto afternoon host Rick Campanelli, who also hosts CITY-TV’s Breakfast Television and used to be a VJ on MuchMusic. Former “94.5 The Beat” CFBT-FM morning host Jonny Staub will host afternoons from 4-7pm. CHFM-FM Calgary midday host Bri Cook will be heard from 10am-1pm, Juliette Nunes from 1-4pm and new CHFI Toronto afternoon host Greg Burns at night from 7-10pm.
