The bankruptcy trustee for JAM Media Solutions has found a buyer for another of its stations in Eastern North Carolina.

Wright Sound LLC will acquire the former AAA “99.1 The Sound” WVOD Manteo for $20,000. Led by former WVOD afternoon host Lisa Brickhouse Davis, she also operated publication The Outer Banks Life. Following the closing of the sale of 92.3 WZPR Nags Head and 104.1 WCXL Kill Devil Hills to East Carolina Radio Inc. and their Muscatine IA stations, the trustee still retains the former Country “Big 94.5” WCMS Hatteras. WVOD needs to resume operations by July 9.

Norsan Media acquires more of the properties it is operating in Austin TX as it converts its Time Brokerage Agreement for Genuine Austin Radio’s 1260 KTAE Elgin and 99.3 KOKE-fM Thorndale, Royal Flush LLC’s 101.9 K270CO Round Rock, and Westface Ventures 98.5 K253AN Sunset Valley for $2 million. Payments towards the TBA will be credited towards the purchase. KTAE/K270CO operate as Spanish Classic Hits “Magia 101.9“, KOKE-FM is Regional Mexican “Mexicanísima 99.3“, and K253AN is Regional Mexican Oldies “Leyendas 98.5“ via 104.9 KTXX-HD2.
