Two years after joining Audacy Houston as Assistant Brand Manager of Hot AC “Mix 96.5” KHMX and Variety Hits “95.7 The Spot” KKHH, Jay Michaels has exited the cluster.
Michaels joined KHMX and KKHH in May 2023 where he also hosted middays on KHMX. He began tracking afternoons on sister Hot AC “99.1 The Mix” WMYX Milwaukee last November and was also heard on the company’s LGBTQ+ “Channel Q“.
Michaels previously spent four years as Operations Manager for Cumulus Media Shreveport LA and PD/morning host for Hot AC “Q97.3” KQHN after seven years at Cumulus Indianapolis as PD of CHR “Energy 93.9” WYRG and Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK. He has also worked at WMGI Terre Haute, WDJX Louisville, and WSTO Evansville IN.
