iHeartMedia AC “98.7 The River” WYKZ Beaufort SC/Savannah GA morning host Mark Robertson will retire from the station on Friday, July 11.
His retirement will mark the end of a 50 year radio career, 48 of which were spent at 98.7 through multiple brand identities since 1977. He also served as Production Director for iHeartMedia Savannah.
He will be succeeded in mornings by Andy Woods. Woods had joined Midlands Media Group Country “94.3 The Dude” WUDE Forest Acres/Columbia SC as Brand Manager and afternoon host in February after a nineteen year run at iHeartMedia Country 97.5 WCOS Columbia as APD/afternoon host.
