Throwback Brands’ “Retro Pop Reunion” hosted by Joe Cortese has launched on Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX Boston.

Cortese has been a known voice in Boston since 1983 with time at 98.5 WROR, “Mix 98.5” WBMX, and later “Oldies 103.3” WODS and WMJX. He began hosting WBMX’s “Back To The 80s Saturday Night” in the early 1990s, which would lead to him launching Retro Pop Reunion in 1998, while continuing the Boston show for many years after.

Cortese commented, “It’s great to be playing on your home field every week! I’ve been doing this for a long time, and it’s still exciting when you have an opportunity like this.”
