At AC “Magic 98.3” WMGQ New Brunswick NJ, Debbie Mazella exits as Program Director/midday host after an eighteen year run. Mazella joined WMGQ as APD/MD in 2007 and rose to PD in 2016. She wrote, “It wasn’t just me; several other super talented and passionate people were also told they would no longer be programming their stations or be on the air. As you know, rock is my preferred genre of music, but I dove into Magic and the pop world and actually became a fan of so many artists that I probably wouldn’t have gravitated toward had it not been for this job. It’s been an honor to have been a part of your workday all these years, and I’m very proud to have had the opportunity to bring Magic into the current world of Hot AC/AC music and see very good ratings, lots of community involvement and I got to work with some really cool humans. Thank you for all the love and support- I will miss being on the air with you every day.”
Rock 105.5 WDHA Dover NJ PD/midday host Terrie Carr is out at the station after two fifteen year stints. Carr first worked at WDHA from 1989 to 2005 where should would rise to PD, and then returned in 2010.
