After stunting with a loop of David Bowie’s “Changes” for multiple days, Seven Mountains Media as flipped the former Hot AC “Pop Radio” 930 WHLM Bloomsburg and Classic Country 1050 WLYC Williamsport PA to Classic Rock “The Goat” at 10am today.
The station is promoting as being heard on four translators: 102.3 W272CD Lewisburg/Milton, 104.3 W282CO Bloomsburg, 107.1 W296CD Jonestown, and 105.5 W288CF Danville, which will soon complete its move to 106.9 Sunbury. 1050 WLYC Williamsport and W272CD had been part of the Classic Country “Bigfoot Country Legends” network
The new brand launched with AC/DC “For Those About To Rock”, Ozzy Osbourne “Mama, I’m Coming Home”, and Nazareth “Hair of the Dog”. Positioning as “The Greatest of All Time”, The Goat joins the company’s similarly branded stations in Bowling Green KY, Olean NY, and Parkersburg WV. It will feature Compass Media Networks’ Dave & Mahoney in mornings and “Ultimate Classic Rock” hosted by Matt Wardlaw in evenings. WMRF Lewistown PA afternoon host Matt Witzel will add middays. Nikki Blue remains in afternoons. Cluster Operations Manager Kyle Alexander continues as Program Director.
The remainder of the former “Pop Radio” signals are being utilized to stretch Classic Hits “Hanna” further east. 1280 WBWX/94.7 W234BH/96.3 W242BY Berwick join 92.3 WHNA Riverside, 106.1 WNNA Beaver Springs, and 97.5 W248DK/106.5 WCFT-HD2 Bloomsburg.

Original Report 9/29: Seven Mountains Media is preparing a new launch in Bloomsburg PA as Hot AC “Pop Radio” 930 WHLM Bloomsburg, 1280 WBWX Berwick and its network of translators have begun stunting with a loop of David Bowie’s “Changes”.
The new format will debut on Wednesday, October 1 at 10am. Sweepers running during the stunt state “This isn’t a rebrand, this is a revolution,” “You think you’re ready, you’re not. Wednesday at 10am everything changes,” plus one with just different animal noises.
WHLM has a network of translators including 94.7 W234BH Berwick, 104.3 W282CO Bloomsburg, and 105.5 W288CF Danville. WBWX is rebroadcast on 96.3 W242BY Berwick and 107.1 W296CD Jonestown.
