Buck Owens Productions Country 550 KUZZ/107.9 KUZZ-FM Bakersfield CA has revamped its lineup with Program Director Brent Michaels moving to mornings as Kenn McCloud slides back to afternoons.
Michaels moves up from afternoons to mornings to join Vanessa ‘Ness’ Heraldez. He has been with KUZZ since 2008 and has programmed the station since 2016 while being heard in every daypart. He previously was APD/morning host on Smooth Jazz “97.7 The Breeze” KSMJ in the market from 2005-08 after beginning his career as Promotions Director for Clear Channel Bakersfield.
McCloud joined KUZZ in afternoons in December 2017 before moving up to mornings with Heraldez in June 2023. He previously spent fifteen years at iHeartMedia Bakersfield with stints as SVP/Programming, Operations Manager, and PD/Morning host at both AC 105.3 KKDJ and Country 96.5 KBKO. McCloud also has programmed in Des Moines and Albuquerque.
