WSNJ Rocks Into Wilmington DE

Lance Ventaby Lance Venta
October 6, 2025

95.1 WSNJ Wilmington Rock 1240 BridgetonLoud Media has completed the move of 1240 WSNJ Bridgeton NJ into the Wilmington DC.

Formerly AC “Pop-FM 99.9” until Loud Media’s $225,000 acquisition earlier this year, the station has completed its move of its translator from 99.9 in Swedesboro NJ to 95.1 W236EA Wilmington DE. With that comes a flip to Rock “95.1 WSNJ“. Positioning as “Wilmington’s Rock Station”, it is focusing on music from the 1990s through today.

WSNJ has added Radiocraft’s “The TJ Show” for mornings and is running jockless right now in other dayparts.

Loud Media CEO Aaron Ishmael commented, “We believe in rock radio that feels alive, connects with its community, and gives listeners something real. Wilmington and South Jersey deserve a station that plays rock the way it’s meant to be heard—loud, raw, and unapologetic. We are so excited to bring our unique brand of rock programming focused on the 90s and 2000s into Wilmington and the surrounding area… we know the rock scene is huge and we are here to support the fans and provide completely unique marketing opportunities to local businesses.”

Much like seven mountains, they have been streamlining their air talent. Most likely, Ralph, Kim, and Mike from WABY to fill out the lineup.
The stations are definitely not for the casual rock listener, it is for the rock fan, it’s not a criticism as a matter of fact, I am one, and they hit their target. hopefully they can do the same in market.
