Infinity Networks To Take Over Distribution Of CBS News Radio

Paramount ViacomCBS CBS News Radio AudioAudacy’s Infinity Networks has announced it has launched a new distribution partnership with CBS News Radio.

Infinity Networks will handle delivery and network services for CBS News. Audacy says that partnership significantly expands Infinity Networks’ affiliate reach, connecting its high-quality radio content with a broader audience while providing local broadcasters access to premier network programming, operational resources, and monetization opportunities.

Audacy Chief Revenue Officer Bob Phillips said, “This is a major step forward for Infinity Networks and for our partners across the industry. By bringing together a respected brand like CBS News Radio under the Infinity Networks umbrella, we’re creating a scalable platform that enhances the reach and impact of great local and national content for our advertising partners. This expansion underscores our commitment to helping broadcasters grow audiences, strengthen advertiser relationships, and deliver exceptional listening experiences everywhere.”

In addition to CBS News Radio, Infinity Networks offers the Country programs “Katie & Company” and “Rob & Holly” and is the US affiliate partner of SPARC Media Hub.

    Interesting . . . Audacy takes over distribution of CBS Radio News just a short time after it changed the format of the network’s flagship station, changed the call letters and dumped the affiliation. I’m feeling a bit of cognitive dissonance.
