Chris Nicholas is purchasing Hit Radio Media’s “Hot Country Hits” 99.9 WHCH Custer and Hot AC 102.7 WMOM Pentwater MI from Jim Chesley, Steve Leach, and Jeff Lobdell for $47,558.88.
Nicholas serves as Station Manager and morning host at both stations. Hit Radio Media had acquired and resurrected WMOM in March 2020 for $44,000. After winning the allocation with a $51,000 bid in the 2021 FCC Auction, the company launched WHCH in June 2023.
