With the pending $300,000 sale of 97.7 KTPI-FM Mojave CA to K-Love Inc. set to close, the estate of Saul Rosenzweig’s RZ Radio has transferred the IP of the Country station to John Hearne’s Point Broadcasting.
The Country format relocated on January 1 to the previously Silent 106.9 KMVE California City as “106.9 FM“. The station takes KTPI-FM’s former positioning as “The AV’s Best Country”. Prior to going silent last June, KMVE simulcasted Hot AC “K-Mix 106.3” KGMX Lancaster CA. Point Broadcasting had been operating KTPI-FM via Time Brokerage Agreement as 48% owner of the station.
