Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM Tacoma/Seattle is adding Radio America’s Chad Benson Show to its lineup from 7-10pm weekdays starting Monday, February 2.

In addition to his daily syndicated show, Benson has co-hosted afternoons on Bonneville’s 92.3 KTAR-FM Phoenix since January 2020. He commented, “I’m excited to join KIRO Newsradio and connect with listeners across Seattle. My goal is to deliver the news in a way that’s informative, honest, and engaging—without losing sight of the human side of the stories.”

Benson will replace CBS News’ The Takeout, Prime Time with John Dickerson, and Eye on the World with John Batchelor in the 7-10pm timeslots. KIRO-FM Director of News and Talk Programming Bryan Buckalew said, “Chad has a unique ability to break down complex issues in a way that’s engaging and accessible. He respects the intelligence of the audience, values facts, and understands how to connect with listeners in a meaningful way. He’s a strong addition to our evening programming.”
