Seven Mountains Media has expanded the “Nancy & Newman” morning show to a third market with its launch on “Big Froggy 101” WFGE State College PA.

Hosts Nancy Ryan and Newman originally joined the company in January 2024 to host mornings at “Froggy Valley 100.1” WFVY Lebanon PA and were added to mornings at sister “95.7 The Big Pig” WPIG Olean NY last fall. The duo were best known for their long run at iHeartMedia Country “Bob 94.9” WRBT Harrisburg where Ryan had been part of the morning show starting in 1997 and Newman joined in 2001 until both exited in December 2020. Ryan previously worked at Oldies “Kool 94.9” and later “Kool 99.3” WWKL Harrisburg and had a brief stint at 97.1 WBNS-FM Columbus OH. Newman had worked at WKRZ Scranton, WZPT Pittsburgh and KRUZ Santa Barbara CA before joining WRBT. He would rise to APD/MD and Program Director in 2017 during his tenure there.

In State College, Nancy & Newman fill the morning slot that had been held by WFGY Altoona’s “JoJo & Lily” until JoJo’s exit in December followed by Lily’s resignation at the start of the year. WFGY continues to seek its new morning show.
