Jackie Green has announced her departure from Cumulus Media Grand Rapids MI after over a decade.

Green most recently served as midday host at Classic Rock “97 LAV” WLAV-FM and weekend host on CHR “105.3 Hot-FM” WHTS. She originally joined WHTS-FM in 2016 as afternoon host and then moved to mornings in August 2019 and then back to afternoons in January 2024. She would move to WLAV later that year. Green also worked in the Grand Rapids market at Townsquare Media Hot AC 95.7 WLHT and Rock 97.9 WGRD from 2008-14 along with “Fox 17” WXMI-TV and has also worked at WBTI Port Huron. During her tenure with Cumulus, she previously tracked middays for 93.3 KKOB-FM Albuquerque.

She shared on Friday, “I spent the last 17 years on the radio/television in West Michigan and today is my last day on air. Thanks everyone who has listened, followed, and watched along. I don’t know what I’ll do next but I’m at peace with my decision and am ready for my next chapter 💜”
