Civic Media has flipped Talk/Sports 920 WMPL/107.3 W297CD Hancock MI to Oldies “Yooper 107.3“.

Focusing on music from the 1960s and 70s, WMPL is one of many Civic Media spoken word stations to shift to Oldies in recent months including WFHR Wisconsin Rapids in December, WGBW Green Bay last August, and WRJN Racine in May 2024.

WMPL had previously featured a mix of Talk including a local morning show hosted by Elaine Hendrickson from 8-11am weekdays and Premiere Networks’ Clay Travis & Buck Sexton from 12-3pm followed by Sports talk including the statewide syndicated “The Huge Show” from 3-6pm and Westwood One Sports Network at night.
