Verstandig Broadcasting has flipped Sports “100.9 The Goat” 1380 WIKG/W265DU Waynesboro PA/Hagerstown MD to CHR “100.9 Next-FM“.
Positioning as “Hagerstown’s Home For What’s Next”, the flip takes the station into direct competition with Connoisseur Media’s “Live 96.7” WDLD Halfway.
The station had assumed the Sports programming and WIKG call letters last September as part of a shuffle created by the sale of 104.7 WAYZ. It previously had been a second Sports brand as “Fox Sports 100.9” WLIN.
