The Colorado Broadcasters Association held their annual Awards of Excellence Gala at The Ritz-Carlton Denver this weekend.
The CBA breaks its awards into four market levels: Small Market, Medium Market, Major Market, and Metro Market for Denver. The Station of the Year winners by market level were “Eagle Country 104.1” KBVC-FM Buena Vista, “Krystal 93” KYSL Frisco, “98.9 Magic-FM” KKMG Colorado Springs, and “Colorado Public Radio” KCFR Denver. Personality of the year winners were KXKL Denver morning host Melissa Moore, KGLX-HD4 Grand Junction morning hosts Scott Staley and Aly Billingsley, and KYSL morning host Tom Fricke.
