Cox Media Group has promoted Shawn Knight to Assistant Director of Branding & Programming for Adult R&B “Hot 106.5” WHJX Ponte Vedra Beach/Jacksonville FL.

Knight joined the cluster in January 2025 as afternoon host at WHJX and has since added middays on Hip Hop “Power 106.1” W291CI/WJGL-HD2. Prior to his arrival in Jacksonville, Knight spent three years hosting mornings at Cumulus Media AC “Majic 107.7” KMAJ-FM Topeka KS and has held roles as APD/afternoon host at Townsquare Media Adult R&B “107.3 Kiss-FM” KISX Tyler TX and on-air at WKZJ Columbus GA, WPWX, WGCI, and WSRB Chicago, and WTLC and WTLC-FM Indianapolis.
