Community Media will acquire Classic Rock “The Peak” 101.9 WKKN Westminster VT/100.7 WTHK Wilmington VT, Sports “WEEI” 93.5 WEEY Swanzey, and Hot AC “The Penguin” 96.3 WFYX Walpole NH/104.7 W284AB Jamaica VT/106.5 W293AB Keene NH. Goodell acquired 1450 WTSA/99.5 W258DW and 96.7 WTSA-FM Brattleboro from Four Seasons Media last fall and relaunched the stations as “Country 99.5” and AC “Magic 96.7” on January 1.

SummitMedia sells Silent 590 KXSP Omaha NE to Steve Seline’s Walnut Radio for $40,000. The deal includes a waiver request to exceed the AM subcap in the market by giving the co-owned Walnut Radio and Hickory Radio five overlapping AM signals. After moving News/Talk 1180 KERN Wasco-Greenacres CA to 1230 Bakersfield earlier this month, American General Media is donating the 1180 KGEO license to Skyride Unlimited Inc. The donees own Christian AC “88.3 Life-FM” KAXL Greenacres/Bakersfield.
