Following last week’s exit of morning co-host Cheyenne Davis, Audacy Country 107.9 KMLE Chandler/Phoenix has brought Gabe Mercer back to the market to join Niko Petrou in mornings.

Mercer had been based in Seattle co-hosting mornings at Audacy’s “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF and afternoons on KMLE with Matt McAllister and ‘Captain Ron’ Koons until McAllister’s exit earlier this month. Before joining “The Morning Wolfpack” in September 2022, she held multiple roles at Audacy Phoenix including Promotions Coordinator and Sales Assistant in addition to evening and midday host at KMLE.

Petrou is on his second stint in mornings at KMLE. He previously co-hosted “The Breakfast Buzz” on from February 2018 until February 2019 when he moved to mornings and later afternoons at sister Classic Hits “Big 94.5” KOOL-FM. He returned to the station in January 2025. Prior to Phoenix, Petrou worked at CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI Detroit and at multiple stations in New York including two stints at “Z100” WHTZ including hosting nights, APD/MD/midday host at “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP, and at Dance “Pulse 87” WNYZ-LP.
