Longtime “Hot 96.9” WBQT Boston morning co-host Susan Lynne ‘Pebbles’ Semedo is stepping down from “The Get Up Crew” to focus on developing her “Positively Pebbles” brand.
Pebbles has been a staple in Boston radio since 1988 starting her career at 1090 WILD where she would host middays and later co-host mornings. She moved to “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN in 1995 to co-host mornings first with Baltazar and from 2001 until 2012 with Ramiro Torres. She would join WBQT at the start of 2013 and was reunited with Baltazar until August 2014 when “The Get Up Crew” launched with her, Melissa, and Jermaine Wiggins. Torres would join the show in January 2016 with Wiggins departing in 2020. The show has been syndicated to Beasley’s “Hot 95.5” W238AU/WHHD-HD2 Augusta GA and “107.7 The Bounce” WUKS Fayetteville NC since August 2024 and was also heard briefly in Las Vegas.
