Audacy has set the launch lineup for Sports “97.1 The Fan” KNX-FM Los Angeles when it launches on Monday, May 11.
Former Los Angeles Lakers player and New York Knicks and Los Angeles Sparks head coach Derek Fisher and former baseball player Cody Decker will host mornings from 6-10am. Decker also previously has co-hosted at SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio and has worked for Fox Sports 1, MLB Network, Bally Sports and Stadium.
Former NFL safety and Fox Sports/Big Ten Network analyst Brock Vereen and Alex Curry will host middays from 10am to 2pm. Curry has previously covered the Los Angeles Kings and works for Fox Sports covering NFL, MLB, and college football.
Doug McKain and Bill Reiter will follow in afternoons. Reiter hosted late mornings on Infinity Sports Network until the end of 2025 and is a columnist for CBS Sports. McKain hosts the “Dodgers Nation” and “Locked On Rams” podcasts.
Brand Manager Andrew Williams said, “Los Angeles is a sports powerhouse with a deep connection between teams, fans, and culture, and this new lineup brings together championship-level personalities, veteran player perspective, and sharp analytical expertise. We’re building a full-scale, live and local LA sports network that brings sports to the FM dial and across multiple platforms to meet our audiences where they are. We’re excited to give fans an unparalleled listening and viewing experience that’s as entertaining and authentic as it is insightful.”

I wish this lineup great success.
Station launches May 18, not May 11, according to their social media channels.
I’m told that is a mistake. It is May 11.
