As First Dallas Media closed today on its $850,000 purchase of 102.5 KMAD-FM Whitesboro TX from Connoisseur Media, the station signed off its “Mad Rock 102.5” identity on Tuesday evening.
The station’s brand however is being retained online as “Mad Rock Nation” including an airstaff that includes “Free Beer & Hot Wings” in mornings and Connoisseur trackers Mighty Iris in middays and Jon Kamal in afternoons.
First Dallas Media will soon relaunch 102.5 as a simulcast of Christian AC 90.9 KCBI-FM Dallas under new KZBH call letters joining a network that is also heard on 92.9 KZBI Marlin/Waco and 107.7 KCBN Hico TX.
Connoisseur retains Country “Katy Country 93.1” KMKT Bells and AC “97.5 K-Lake” KLAK Tom Bean in the Sherman/Denison market.
