Norsan Media is expanding its holdings in Austin TX with the purchase of Rhythmic Throwbacks “Vibe 93.3” KGSR Cedar Park for $3.5 million.
Norsan will add the Class C signal to its five existing brands in the market where the company operates Regional Mexican “La Raza” on 104.9 KTXX-FM and 1530 KZNX Creedmoor/95.1 K236AY Westlake Hills, “Mexicanísima 99.3“ KOKE-FM Thorndale, Regional Mexican Oldies “Leyendas 98.5“ K253AN Sunset Valley/KTXX-HD2, Spanish AC “Romance 105.3” K287FG/KTXX-HD4, and Spanish Classic Hits “Magia 101.9“ 1260 KTAE Elgin/101.9 K270CO Round Rock. Norsan also operates stations in Charlotte, Greensboro, and Wilmington NC, Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville SC, and Jacksonville and Orlando FL.
Waterloo Media will retain the rights to the KGSR call letters in addition to its remaining brands: Classic Rock 93.7 KLBJ-FM, Alternative “101X” KROX-FM, Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA, Regional Mexican “La Z 107.1” KLZT, News/Talk 590 KLBJ/99.7 K259AJ, Spanish AC “Latino 97.1” K246BD/KLZT-HD2, Sports “ESPN 102.7” K274AX/KBPA-HD2, and AAA 93.3 KGSR-HD2.
