Brandon ‘Shotgun Jackson’ Young has joined East Texas Broadcasting’s “Star Country 95.9” KSCH Sulphur Springs TX as Program Director and morning host.
Young most recently hosted afternoons at Rich Media Country “96.1/102.1 The Wolf” KWFI/KWFO Pocatello ID. He has held programming and on-air roles at stations including OM of Stone Canyon Media Flagstaff AZ where he also hosted mornings at “107.5 Kolt Country” KSED, PD/afternoon host at Hot AC “Mix 103.1” KURR St. George UT, and PD of Country 105.7 KYKX Longview TX. He spent much of his early career in the Salt Lake City market including stints as APD/MD at KISN, KBEE, KEGA, and KYMV, on-air at KUBL, and PD of “My Country 105.7” KTMY. Young has also held programming roles in Elsinore and Logan UT, Grand Forks ND, Santa Barbara CA, and Kennewick and Wenatchee WA.
