Hubbard Radio CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV Seattle has appointed Israel ‘Izzy’ Nunnelly as its new afternoon host starting Monday, July 20.
Izzy joins KQMV from nights at American Media Investments’ “104.3 The Rewind” KCAR-FM. His father, Howie Nunnelly also works at the AMI cluster, is Owner/GM of Classic Hits “100.9 The Island“ KGLC and Classic Country “99.3 The Bridge” KGVE Grove OK and years ago worked at CHR “Wild 100” KRBV Dallas.
He commented, “I’m so excited for the opportunity to be on MOViN 92.5 and thankful to work with a great team. Thank you to Cat Thomas and Nick Beyer for believing in me. I have been surrounded by radio and music since I was born, and radio has come to be my passion. I look forward to sharing that passion with Seattle!”
KQMV Brand and Content Director Cat Thomas said, “Radio has changed in many ways but engaging and entertaining talent will always be our difference maker. Izzy jumped out to us immediately with his love of the radio business, relatability, and personality.”
Hubbard Seattle President/Market Manager Nick Beyer commented, “Izzy represents the next generation of talent we want to grow on MOViN 92.5. What stood out right away was his ability to connect with listeners. His show is highly interactive, phone-heavy, and built around real people being part of the conversation. That kind of listener connection has been missing from a lot of modern radio, and Izzy brings it back in a way that feels fresh, natural, and completely in step with MOViN.”
Nunnelly replaces George ‘Jax’ Cotsirilos, who exited in May after four-plus years at the station.

His father also worked at KCHZ and KMXV in Kansas City before going to Hot 100.3 in DFW. I believe he still regularly appears on one of the Nexstar TV stations (either KSNF or KODE) in the market, too.
