Audacy repositioned Rhythmic AC “Star 94” WSTR Smyrna/Atlanta GA to a brighter AC mix today.
The move comes with new “Atlanta’s Upbeat Variety” positioning as the music takes a focus on the past 30 years dropping much of its Rhythmic emphasis for a more balanced pop direction nearly identical to Cox Media Group’s “B98.5” WSB-FM.
WSTR had a 3.6 share in the May 2026 Nielsen Audio ratings as well as the May 2026 Eastlan ratings. WSB-FM had a 5.4 in the May Nielsen ratings and 5.2 in Eastlan.
