License Cancellations
After acquiring the station earlier this year as part of its purchase of Beasley Media Group’s Fort Myers stations, Fort Myers Broadcasting Company has surrendered the license of 770 WBCN North Fort Myers.
Dockins Broadcast Group has requested cancellation of Silent 96.5 WJTK Columbia City/Lake City FL. WJTK filed a Silent STA in March due to tower issues.
The CP for Frequency Zero’s 89.1 WFQZ Stock Island/Key West FL expired unbuilt.
Silent Notifications
After completing the move of its programming to recently acquired 103.7 WPVD-FM Westerly, Ocean State Media has taken all of its previous network of signals across the state silent: 89.3 WNPN Newport, 89.5 WNPW Westerly, 90.7 WNPH Portsmouth, 102.7 WNPE Narragansett Pier, and 1290 WPVD/102.9 @275DA Providence.

FCC Actions
The FCC proposes a change to the FM Table of Allotments to replace the Class A signal on 97.5 Whitehall MI that was most recently held by Cumulus Media’s WLAW-FM until its license was surrendered in March. The Commission is proposing reallotting the vacant facility to 99.5 to eliminate short-spacing to 96.9 WLAV-FM Grand Rapids and 97.5 WJIM-FM Lansing MI by ten kilometers and 97.5 WKLT Kalkaska MI by four kilometers.
