Audacy Country “US 99” WUSN Chicago afternoon host Scotty Kay is adding afternoons at co-owned 103.7 KSON San Diego.

Kay is also heard in afternoons at “102.9 The Wolf” KMNB Minneapolis and previously on “107.7 The Wolf” WLKK Buffalo until its flip to Sports earlier this year. He also hosts Sunday middays across all of the company’s Country outlets.

Kay has been with WUSN since 2019. He began his career at iHeartMedia CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC Chicago under the name ‘Special K’ and eventually rose to Music Director/night host before leaving in 2013. He would then co-host mornings at both iHeartMedia CHR “Power 96.1” WWPW Atlanta and Cumulus Media’s “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM Dallas before returning to Chicago.

At KSON he fills the afternoon slot that had been held by Kimo Jensen until his retirement in June. He posted, “San Diego… I can’t wait to laugh with you every afternoon starting Monday on 103.7 KSON! I know I have some big shoes to fill following the amazing Kimo, and I’m incredibly honored to join such a talented, passionate team at such a legendary station.”
