Carrie Danger is departing Rubber City Radio Alternative “107.3 Alternative Cleveland” WNWV Elyria OH following her show today.
In an social media post the station wrote, “Never easy to share updates like this 😭 but this one hits especially hard… It is with heavy hearts that we announce that today is Carrie Danger’s last day on the air with us! She’s chosen to step away to pursue other opportunities. Carrie has been with the station since our launch in 2022. Our listeners fell in love with her authenticity, positive energy, and commitment to her craft. She has made this station what it is today, and words can’t describe how truly grateful we are for giving us her talents as long as she did. It’s tough to say goodbye, but make one thing certain – we will always be the biggest Carrie Danger fans. We’ll be cheering her on wherever life takes her. Please take the time to thank Carrie for yourself and wish her well in the comments! While change is hard, we’re still here rocking as your live, local, and independently owned radio station. We’ll let you know soon what’s in store for the future of afternoons. See you on the airwaves.”
Danger has been with the station since it flipped to Alternative in 2022 first in nights before moving to afternoons in January 2024. She began her radio career in 2010 and previously hosted afternoons at AAA 95.3 WLKR Norwalk OH from 2011-17 and then worked at that station in a part-time role from 2019 until joining WNWV.
