In St. Louis’ northwest suburbs, Viper Broadcasting has launched Classic Hits “Q101” 101.7 KQDZ Elsberry MO.
Owned by East Central Broadcasting, KQDZ had been LMA’d to Donze Broadcasting where it had been simulcasting “Classic Rock 93.1” KBDZ Perryville since March 2025. It now comes under the operations of Viper, which owns competing Rock “100.7 The Viper” KFNS-FM Troy.
The new brand is focusing on music from the 1980s and 90s with a heavy dose of retro jingle resings.
