After three years hosting afternoons on SiriusXM Hot AC “The Pulse” (channel 5), Brady is switching to the same daypart on “Hits 1“.
Brady will be heard from 5-10pm Eastern/2-7pm Pacific in the timeslot that had been held by Gaby Symon. He joined SiriusXM in May 2023 after previously hosting afternoons at Audacy’s Alternative stations in New York, Detroit, and Seattle from January 2021 to April 2023. Brady has also hosted late nights at iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” WHTZ, nights at CHR “Power 93.3” KPWX Seattle and has worked at “Live 95.5” KBFF Portland and “Z96.5” WAZY Lafayette IN.
He shared, “After 3 years on SiriusXM Pulse, I have moved over to the same time slot on SiriusXM Hits 1! Super excited to start connecting with you there and begin this new chapter of saying random things in-between songs 🙌 Hope you can join me weekdays on Hits 1 from 5pm ET/2pm PT!”
Brady’s arrival comes following the recent retirement of Spyder Harrison from the channel, the departure of “Morning Mashup” co-host ‘Stanley T’ Evans last month, and now the exit of afternoon host Gaby Symon. Symon recently took over the afternoon slot solo following co-host Tony Fly’s move to “The 10s Spot” a few months ago. Symon had joined the channel in 2017 after releasing her debut album. She revealed her exit earlier this week in an Instagram post.
The new daily lineup on Hits 1 features “The Morning Mashup” with Ryan Sampson and Nicole Ryan from 6am to 12pm Eastern, “Hits 1 in Miami with Mack and Jen” from 12-5pm, Brady 5-10pm, and Mikey Piff from 10pm-3am.
